Purchased in Kenya in 1994. The appraisal states (in part): Wooden statue of female sitting on feet with long carved coiffure down back to hips. Scarification from top of head to tip of nose….Overall height of statue is 13 ½ inches. Slight crack from top of head extending to chin crossing right eye. Another crack which shows evidence of repair starts under chin and down center extending to base. Appraised October 25, 1997 at $1100.
