This is a lovely antique oil on board painting of a scenic autumn day in Vermont. This worked is unsigned but written in pencil on the back is the following: Autumn in Vermont Lee. The colors are strong and there is no paint missing - it measures 7 1/2" X 5 1/2". It has a nice frame that has a gessoed leaf and flower pattern on the outside edge, there is some craquelure on the frame and some missing gesso on the bottom corners and upper right corner and some separation on the mitered corners closest to the painting. Someone painted this frame sometime along the way. Frame measures 12" X 10" X 1 3/4" with a back opening of 8" X 6 1/4". This is a nice painting for that little space you need to fill.
