This is a great piece of antique porcelain from the Podmore Walker & Company out of Tunstall England. It is circa 1834-1859. There is an impressed half circle on the back and in arched letters states: STONEWARE PW& CO also on the back is the pattern mark which is an eagle holding a ribbon with the word COREAN in the middle and on the bottom of the ribbon: P W & Co, there is also a stamped number 3. The plate measures 10 1/4" and has twelve sides. The pattern is a dark mulberry but to us it actually looks black. The condition of the plate is very good with all over glaze crazing and age toning which gives it a very attractive antique patina. In the plate we can see 3 little tiny marks from the stand used for firing. There is one place on the edge that looks to have a hairline crack (1/2") it is darkened on the backside of the plate. This is a lovely plate and displays nicely - great for your collection.
