A beautiful Hudson River School Style of Oil on Canvas Painting with a Mountainous Scene, a Lake with Sailboats below and a Man walking with a Fishing Pole over his shoulder heading towards the water. This nicely executed painting is mounted in a period 19th century Walnut and gold gilt inner stenciled liner. We do not see an Artist's Signature on this work. Obtained from a Hudson River Valley Estate Sale. Measurements are 18.75 by 27.25 inches art sight, 23.25 by 31.62 inches framed. Condition of the painting is good with no holes, tears, or paint loss. There is one indent in the center right. The frame is solid overall with some gesso loss the the stenciled gilt liner bottom and left.
