Antique Oil on Canvas Still Life With Fabulous Ornate Antique Frame

This is a lovely still life antique painting of roses. It is oil on canvas and there is some paint loss and craquelure throughout. There is a hole (a slit about 1/2") in the canvas beside the bottom rose on the left and chips of paint missing on the rose to the right. There are paint cracks and we believe someone touched these up sometime along the way. Painting measures 8 3/4" X 11 1/2". The frame is a wonderful antique gold composition frame with flowers and leaves on a basket weave. Frame is in good shape with craquelure throughout and little losses on three of the four corners but with so much going on on this frame it really is not noticeable. Frame measures 14" X 16 1/2", back opening is 9 1/2" X 12 1/4". Nice still life with frame for your wall.
