This antique sculpted piece of coral is just beautiful! Depicting a boy and his dog this is in perfect condition. For those of you who collect coral carvings you will find the workmanship of this to be quite fine. Signed at the base on the reverse... quite hard to read but looks like.... AMMEINDOLA maybe you will be able to figure it out. This coral stands 2 1/2 inches high.

Our guess is this was done in the mid 20th century, impressionist style and it is in great shape with no paint loss. It is set in a wooden frame which measures 18 3/4 X 21 3/4 X 1 1/2". Painting size is 14 1/2" X 17 1/2".

This is a wonderful carved shelf. The buck itself appears to have been done in two separate pieces and then put together for there is a seam down the middle.
