Here is a wonderful antique wool doll dress, circa 1889. It features lots of creamy hand embroidery on bodice, skirt, back, and sleeves. Quite a beautiful dress. It has a low waist gathered up with rows of shirring. Shirring also provides fullness and fit at the chest. The sleeves are long, the back buttons up with buttons/buttonholes. The skirt is lined with cotton. Lovely, high quality antique doll dress for 24"-26" dolls. Good, wearable condition with general time soil, a fray or two, and very small moth bites. Measures: Length: 17", Chest: up to 18", Shoulder width: 9 1/2'.
