This is really cleverly done. The artist has taken the coral from the sea and has attempted to replace the interesting and beautiful surroundings of the sea with jewels. 10 mm carved sapphires are affixed to the coral with 18K gold. 4 diamonds adorn the top of the branch. All in all unique, cleaver and beautiful. A homage to nature. It is a completely balanced 2 1/4" in all diameters. It has a sheen on the branch. You can see where the branch was taken from the sea and there is a very fine and superficial crazed area on the side of the large branch - no one can see it when worn.
