Victorian 14K Museum Cameo

There are numerous cameos around of mythical characters and women in their finery. This is however a cut above the norm. The beautiful women is dressed in flowing gowns with a turban. Her elbow rests on a scroll and a book and she has her hand to her temple thinking. I want to call her the "Conjurer" as I feel a mystic quality to her pose. She is so detailed and the quality of the carving is so grand that I have never owned a cameo such as this. I have carefully photographed the crazing that is apparent when you hold her to the light. But given her age this is unfortunate but understandable. I hope a collector who will appreciate her unique qualities is the person who decides to make this purchase.
