A lovely old Danecraft cast sterling silver rosebud bouquet brooch. The brooch measures 2 3/8" x 1 3/4" with a safety catch pin and is marked in an oval cartouche on the back 'Danecraft Reg'd Sterling' with a hard to read mark (looks like an animal head) inside a stylized 'C'. 'IB Sterling' is also stamped on the back of the brooch. (Not too sure if the first initial is definitely an 'I' as it is hard to read). This looks like one of the older Danecraft marks used prior to 1945. There is a some patina on the brooch which I have not cleaned and normal age related pitting. This wonderful old brooch is in very good condition.
