A stunning silky purple rayon faille long sleeved cocktail dress by Edie Johne. The fitted waist dress has lightly gathered padded shoulders with a low round neck and five antiqued gold tone metal buttons down the front. The stitched banded peplum has a centre opening at the front and back and the straight skirt has a 9" back slit.

The dress is fully lined in purple acetate material and has a three position adjustable belt with large 8" bow. The backing of the belt has curled slightly at the edges due to having never been worn but will probably soften with use. The belt is detachable and the dress looks wonderful with or without the belt.

The original plastic holder with a photograph of Edie Johne is still attached with Kimble tag to the side of the dress. There is a 22 1/2" back zipper and a designer label marked 'Edie Johne, Made In Canada' attached to the inside of the neck at the back with the care label underneath.

The dress is marked size 14 and is approx. 45" long from shoulder to bottom of skirt. This very elegant cocktail party dress has never been worn and is in pristine new condition.
