A beautiful white bone china cake lifter with a pretty dogwood flower pattern with gold trim on the handle and fluted edge of the lifter. The length of the cake lifter is 9 1/4" and the width in the middle is 2 1/2" tapering down to 1 1/4" at the tip. The back is marked 'H. Aynsley & Co. Ltd. Est. 1869 Staffordshire England'. This is the mark of Herbert Aynsley and dates the piece to between 1946 - 1950. This lovely old cake slicer lifter is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
