Beautiful vintage Rex 5th Avenue gold tone mesh bottom compact with gold floral brocade under plastic lid with ribbed gold tone edging. There is no powder inside only the original unused Rex powder puff. The compact measures 2 1/2" in diameter by approx. 5/8" high and the mirror is in good condition with no clouding and the clasp is nice and tight. This circa 1950 compact is in excellent condition.
