Crown Trifari Clear Rhinestone Brooch - c.1954

Stunning Crown Trifari clear rhinestone brooch on silver tone rhodium plate. The design of the brooch is similar to Alfred Phillippe designer patent numbers 166491 and 166622. There are ribbons of pave set small round clear rhinestones and large bezel set teardrop rhinestones all set in silver tone rhodium plate. The slightly domed brooch is 2 1/4" long by 1 3/4" wide and sits approx. 3/8" at the centre with a 'C' safety catch pin and is marked on the back 'Trifari' with the crown above the 'T'. There is one tiny rhinestone missing on the inward curve at the top of the brooch (see photos 6 and 7) which does not show when wearing the brooch and does not detract from the beauty of the piece.

This wonderful vintage brooch came from the collection of Miss Canada 1954 and is in very good to excellent condition.
