This is a "locket type" brooch that can hold a photo or a piece of hair from a loved one, mourning brooch.

There is a piece of glass, a cardboard backing and a sterling backing that fits into place. See All Photos.

Older C-clasp pin closure. Circa 1920's. Brooch stamped sterling and round backing disc stamped sterling.

Excellent Vintage Condition. The glass insert has some surface scratches.

There is some residual glue and cardboard on the inside back of the brooch that will easily clean up. The cardboard was glued in.
