Gorgeous hand painted Limoges factory-decorated charger beautifully decorated with stylized tulips. Measures 12 3/8" in diameter. Overall condition is very good, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. A few small, very shallow surface scratches, which you virtually have to angle the charger in the light to see. These are very minor, as you can tell from the pictures, but stated here for accuracy. Also, some minor wear to the gold trim, around the very outer edge of the charger, an example of which can be seen in the closeup photo. Signed by the artist, J. Lucas. Stamped with Bawo & Dotter Marks #5 and #9c, dating this piece from just after 1900 to 1914.
