Gorgeous hand painted service set consisting of a 12 3/8" charger and TEN matching plates! The plates measure approximately 8 1/2" to 8 5/8" in diameter. Five have a yellow accent on the pink floral decoration, and five have a blue accent. The condition is very good-to-excellent, with no chips, cracks, or repairs, and only slight wear to the hand painted finish and gold trim. Signed by Howard Reury, best known as a prolific, well-accomplished artist who worked for Pickard China. Blanks are marked with various Bavarian manufacturer backstamps. Despite the fact that there is no studio mark present, this is undoubtedly a vintage set of high-quality, hand painted china from the early part of the 1900s.
