Nice example of hand painted French porcelain beautifully decorated at the Limoges factory. Stands 7 3/4" tall. Condition is very good-to-excellent, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Signed by the artist, D'Rewic. Stamped with Jean Pouyet Mark #5, found in use from 1890 to 1932, as well as a factory-applied decal stating "Hand painted" in script.

Adorable Limoges hand painted oval trinket box beautifully decorated with a golden bear. Approximately 5 1/4" long, 3 1/4" deep, and 1 3/4" high. Condition is very good-to-excellent. Signed by the artist, Nicolls. Stamped with Porcelaine Industrielle Du Limousin Mark #1, found in use from the 1970s. Not the oldest piece of Limoges, but definitely one of the cutest.

Minor wear to the gold accent trim around the top rim, and two extremely minor "flakes" to the paint, as seen in the closeup photos. Great-looking hand painted Limoges fish set consisting of a 22 1/2" platter and SIXTEEN matching 9 1/4" plates! Condition is very good, with some moderate wear to the hand painted finish and gold accent trim around the outer edges. One of the sixteen plates has a very small chip on the outer edge and tight 1" hairline, as seen in the close up photo. All pieces are signed by the artist, Henry. The large platter is unmarked, but the plates bear Balleroy Freses Mark #1, circa 1908 to 1912.

Although this gorgeous hand painted hanging plaque is unmarked, it is unmistakably Limoges in both style and quality. The unique sepia finish adds to the haunting beauty of this young woman, caught up in a daydream, oblivious to the fact that her jug is filled to overflowing. This plaque is 11" in diameter, and the condition is very good to excellent. The only wear is to a small section of the gold trim on the outer edge, as seen in the closeup photo. Most likely dates to no later than the 1920s.
