Terrific hand painted Pickard plate decorated with the Tomascheko Edelweiss Border motif. Measures 7 1/2" in diameter. Condition is very good-to-excellent, with no chips, cracks, or repairs, and just a slight bit of wear to the gold accent trim. Unsigned. Stamped with Pickard Mark #5, the 13/32" brown decal found in use from 1905 to 1910. Also stamped with a Limoges manufacturer's mark identified as Jean Pouyat Mark #5, found in use from about 1890 to 1932. Member, Pickard Collector's Club.
