I had SUCH fun making this necklace!! I was inspired, and I readily admit, by a book my daughter has, rather it's a series of books about Jewel Fairies. The sketches, the colors, so vivid and bewitching, I just had to make something :)

A Bejewelled Rainbow Fairy is truly a magical palette of shade, shape and texture. I've used a current fave, picture perfect AAA Flawless Polished Green Fluorite Coins in abundance here (need to go get some more!) to create a fluid effervescent stream interspersed with smooth slabs of Polished Watermelon Nuggets.

A Bejewelled Rainbow Fairy's focal is comprised of another must-have, AAA Rhodolite Garnet Rondelles, teeny tiny 24K Gold Seed Beads towards the crown, 18K Gold Filled Cubes in the lower center portion, stunning AA Rare Pink Sapphires, AA Polished Watermelon Tourmaline Briolettes and amazing Bi-Color Lemon Topaz Marquis Teardrops.

The Piece de resistance??? In this baby, there are three namely the gorgeous 24K Brushed Gold Teardrop, the single flawless AAA Polished Green Fluorite Briolette AND those amazing AAA Pink Topaz Trillions. See how they shine!!!!

I've incorporated my signature flower weave in this piece in a slightly different fashion and worked the pattern into the Toggle Clasp :) see the Rhodolite Garnets prancing around as the "S" Hook features a final quartet of flawless AAA Polished Green Fluorite Briolette, Pink Sapphire, Polished Watermelon Tourmaline Briolette and Bi-Color Lemon Topaz Marquis Teardrop. These all come together as part of my handmade Clasp, which secures to the rest of A Bejewelled Rainbow Fairy by virtue of two Pink Tourmaline Rondelles.

I used up around 63ft of 14K Gold Filled Wire in making A Bejewelled Rainbow Fairy. She measures approximately 17" but is totally customizable to your desired length. Her focal measures approximately 3" drop.
