Marianne Dashwood was one of the lead characters in the amazing novel, "Sense & Sensibility", one of my all time faves alongside Wuthering Heights and Pride & Prejudice. Marianne is the younger more vivacious heroine who, in the end, finds her soulmate in the older Colonel Brandon.

This piece attempts to portray as many of Marianne's charms as humanly possible :) her beauty, of course, in the form of the exquisite Vintage Enamel Pin which has been laboriously hand-wrapped with an array of wee Turquoise Beads. When the novel commence, Marianne was often described as, "flighty" and this attribute is visibly demonstrated in the pretty 14K Gold Plated Filigree Butterfly, delicately perched a-top said Vintage Enamel Pin. This flutterby has also been decked out with Aluminium Roses in three colors with sporadic inclusions of more Turquoise Beads.

From one of its wings daintily drops a Carved Amazonite Flower, a Vintage Brass Railroad Tag, Vintage 24K Gold Plated Fancy Chains and a gleaming stream of Rhinestone Chains.

Moving upwards to the left, a plethora of pretties unfolds, beginning with a pair of Larimar Crazy Lace Agate Beads which have been tenderly enfolded within Gilded Herringbone Woven Cages. The duo link together a magnificent Vintage Brass Filigree Flower onto which I have also hand-wrapped tons more Turquoise Beads.

To the right, a Cameo Connector paves the way to a single Marquis Cut Blue Chalcedony Teardrop, a bevy of Genuine Aquamarine Ovals and more Larimar Crazy Lace Agate Beads. Simply lovely! And even lovelier in person, I guarantee.

Marianne Dashwood measures approximately 21" and is fully adjustable all the way to 24.5". Her breathtaking pendant measures around 3" across. Lots of 14K Gold Filled Wire has been used in Marianne Dashwood and she secures with an 18K Gold Lobster Claw Clasp.
