When I first began wrestling with wires in November 2007 (read: wire-wrapping), my first piece was a pair of asymmetrical earrings. Not by choice but borne out of necessity because I simply couldn't make both sides identical. Yes, my eyes were rolling then too, amidst some massive hair-pulling and wire smashing, I admit. After that, I started making more asymmetrical earrings because they were just so much fun!

Now, after 6 months of playing ring-a-round-o-rosey with wires and pliers, it appears I've come back full circle with these uneven babies :) it seems fitting, yes?

Coming Back Full Circle showcases a true bevy of baubles, pretty much an ode to all things asymmetrical.

Her right side has this lovely, intricate lacey scalloped detailing with Black Spinel, Burmese Rubies, one single AAA Thai Songea Yellow Sapphire (really petite), AAA Sunstone, teeny tiny Seed Pearls as well as Peridot. A sleek yet signature opulent cascade features a single magnificent AAA Ruby Briolette, weighing all of 18Ctw, sporadic placements of more Peridots, Burmese Ruby Round and a very pretty Chrysoprase Marquis Teardrop.

To the left, the lacey motif is repeated but this time, it encircles the inner circumference of the hoop, a little like tendrils, I find, especially because of the Peridots dotting each one of 'em. A gorgeous bouquet of gems comes into vision now. This lush corsage profiles Chrysoprase, a second AAA 18Ctw Ruby Briolette, Sunstone, Polished Watermelon Tourmaline Briolettes, a menage a trois of AAA Thai Songea Yellow Sapphires as well as sprinklings of Peridot, Black Spinel and wee Seed Pearls.

The right side drops approximately 3.65" whilst the left side is 2.75". Both hoops are around 1.75" in diameter, at their absolute widest. Dramatic yet absolutely lightweight, Coming Back Full Circle is a marriage of 925 Sterling with 999 Fine Silver Wires. All components were made by lil ole me, including the Ear Hooks.
