"Black Magic Woman" is a song written by Peter Green that first appeared as a Fleetwood Mac single in various countries in 1968, subsequently appearing on the 1969 Fleetwood Mac compilation albums English Rose (US) and The Pious Bird of Good Omen (UK). It became a classic hit by Santana in 1970, reaching #4 in the U.S. charts, after appearing on their Abraxas album, becoming more closely associated with Santana than Fleetwood Mac. Santana's version, recorded in 1970, is a medley with Gabor Szabo's 1967 "Gypsy Queen," a mix of jazz, Hungarian folk and Latin rhythms.

I never knew that. Poor Fleetwood Mac LOL Priceless.

This week, Charlotte of Emerald Dolphin Design challenged members of The Wire Artisans Guild with her chosen theme MAGIC. I readily admit to elaborate sketches but my all grandiose plans of a genie bottle as well as a magic mirror all went kaput! I just couldn't finish them on time LOL

So instead, I've concocted my own Black Magic Woman.

Hand-formed curvaceous Hoops (a la the curves of a gorgeous woman, but of course) are diligently wrapped with AAA Tanzanites featuring Rare Blue Labradorite Briolettes in their midst and magnificent Faceted Pearls as the centers. Just see those flashes!!!

Measuring a perfectly wearable 1.85" drop, Black Magic Woman is approximately 1" across at her very widest curve. Her frame was constructed from sturdy 18G 925 Sterling Silver Wire whilst all wrapping was done with hair-fine 30G 999 Fine Silver. Oxidized au naturel with boiled eggs and hand buffed to a subtle shine.
