Small fine silver and fused 24 Kt gold lentil beads suspended from sterling silver earring wires in a unique shape. These earrings go perfectly with the silver lentil necklaces in my shop. Check it out!

Fine silver (0.999) and 24 KT Gold are "noble" metals and will not tarnish easily.

In the case of fine silver, unlike most silver jewelry nowadays, made of sterling silver (.925 silver) which is an alloy of copper (.075%) and silver (.925%), this piece will remain bright and shiny for years. It is the copper in the sterling alloy that oxidizes.

Although pure silver is considered "soft", this piece has been sufficiently work hardened and carefully burnished and polished by hand and is as strong as 18 KT gold.
