A splendid pair of earrings crafted in sterling silver by Ronald Hayes Pearson, 1924-1996. Pearson was a New York metalsmith whose prized work is included in many noted institutions, including the American Craft Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, among others.
These strikingly sleek screwbacks are a fine example of his work. They measure 5/8 inch wide by 1 1/8 inches long and are signed "Pearson" followed by "Sterling." Condition is excellent. Please click on the photo to see additional, enlarged views.
