Very nice details are shown in this vintage figure from China showing an old fisherman posed to reel in his catch should one come along. This delightful piece measures 4 inches tall by 2 7/8 inches deep by 2 1/4 inches wide at the base and is incised simply "CHINA" on the underside. It has a couple condition flaws in the nature of a missing thumb and pole as well as two original, small glaze skips along the outside edge at the bottom base which are not easily visible.
