Gorgeous English Hand Painted Antique Dessert Plate

A very early plate or shallow bowl with hand painted morning glory florals bordering all four sides and a beautiful rose centered in the middle. This gorgeous antique piece has a wonderful glaze and a good bit of weight. We believe it was likely part of an English dessert service at one time.

It measures 8 1/2" in diameter by 1 1/2" tall and is unmarked except for a painter's mark on the reverse side. Condition is excellent. Please click on the photo to see additional, enlarged views of this especially beautiful piece.
