An especially pleasing, very old Staffordshire figure showing a pair of musicians beneath a bower. This circa 1870, flatback figure is nicely modeled and beautifully painted. It measures 6 inches tall by 3 3/4 inches wide.

Condition is exceptionally nice for this 19th century piece with modest crazing and just a wee, tiny bit of paint fade from fingertip rub over the years on each of their hats. There are no other notable condition flaws of any kind.
