REDUCED Trifari Dazzling Deco Sterling Silver Fur Clip Brooch by Alfred Philippe

We are delighted to offer this dazzling Trifari fur clip in vermeil sterling silver designed and patented by Alfred Philippe in 1945. This gorgeous piece serves as a brooch as well as a clip and features a rich ruby red, square-cut crystal stone which is beautifully accented with brilliant baguettes and pave set rhinestones set around it and along the outside tips.

Signed on the reverse side with the coveted crown mark followed by "Trifari" below, it is also marked "Sterling" and "DES PAT NO 140856". Records indicate Trifari filed patent specifications for this design on April 10, 1945, on Philippe's behalf.

Measurements are 1 5/8 inches in diameter and condition is excellent with all stones accounted for and the clip in a nice working order. The only note worthy of mention is a tiny bit of surface gold wash wear on the underside where this beautiful brooch/clip has seen fabric rub over the years.
