We are pleased to offer this stunning enameled trinket or jewelry box in beautiful rose pompadour on an opaline art glass body which is richly embellished throughout with gilted, raised florals and scrollwork. This exceptional casket dates from the Victorian era and is beautifully set in an ornately footed frame with an S clasp. It is very generous in size, measuring approximately 6 inches in diameter by 4.5 inches tall.

Condition is excellent with the hinge firmly secure and the brass frame showing a nicely aged patina. This is a beautiful vanity piece which has surely been kept as a cherished heirloom as there are no condition flaws of any sort worthy of note.
