Superb, English Victorian miniature pine sack barrow with cast iron wheels. This rare 19th C piece was either made as a child's toy or possibly as an apprentice piece. The patination is rich and mellow - simply outstanding! At some point, this delightful miniature barrow underwent a small repair whereby the axle was repositioned by the addition of a small nail at the back (please view pictures). This has resulted in a slight distortion of the piece which has been difficult to photograph. The condition in general is very good. Measures 11 1/2" in height. Width is 6 1/4".
