Antique Apothecary Glass Jar - FACE CREAM - Chemist / Perfume Bottle

Wonderful antique English chemists “Face Cream” glass bottle with original ground glass stopper, late 19th – early 20th century. The label on the front is hand-painted - black lettering over a white enameled shield. It is numbered “222” at the back, as shown. There is some gentle fading and there are a couple of minor chips in the stopper (possibly imperfections in the form of burst air bubbles). The bottle is otherwise in excellent condition – there are no chips. No restoration. Measures: 8” in height. Base diameter is 3”.
