English King George VI fire sand bucket with original paint and Royal Insignia. The bucket dates to around the early 1930s - 40s and would have been used in a Royal or official residence. It retains its fabulous gilded decoration over a fire-engine red ground. It is highly decorative -the gilded decoration is in striking contrast to the red and vibrant enough to produce an eye-catching pop of color in a room. This is a solid, heavy and well constructed steel bucket fortified with rivets at the seams and a with strong bale handle. It is in superb, original and un-restored condition.

Measure 9 1/2" in height. With handle, height is 18 1/2".
