English early 20th century Wardian tabletop case. Originally used as a mini greenhouse for the display of ferns and other exotic plants. This one is a hexagonal shaped, marquee form encased in a brass frame with green stained-glass inserts. It sits on a wooden base. The interior is accessible through an arched sliding door at the front. It is missing its glass door which can be easily replaced. Condition is otherwise excellent. It measures 13” x 11 1/2”. Height is 29”.
