Vintage English Wardian Plant Display Case - LARGE Glass Terrarium

English early 20th century Wardian tabletop case. Originally used as a mini greenhouse for the display of ferns and other exotic plants. This one has a pleasing architectural marquee form. It sits on a wooden base and the glass is encased in a brass frame. The interior is accessible through an arched sliding door at the front. It measures 21” in length, 14” in width and 20” in height. Condition is excellent.
