Victorian English 1 pint sized copper watering can used for indoor containers with a non detachable brass rose. C.1880. It delivers a very fine spray and resembles a traditional Haws watering can though it doesn't have the HAWS seal. The letters "V R" and a crown device impressed onto the front of the can suggests that it was intended to be used in a royal or official household and adds to its desirability today. This is the type of small watering can that wouldn’t look out of place if left displayed on a mantel, worktable, kitchen window sill or counter. The exterior surface has been cleaned. The can is perfectly functional and free from repairs. It measures 15” in length from handle to rose and 4 ½” in height.
