Vintage French Linen Tea Towel Set - Monogrammed

Antique French linen set of tea towels. There are 7 identical tea towels, no doubt once part of a trousseau – all beautifully woven from linen, flanked with red striping and adorned with a hand-embroidered “D + L” monogram in the top corner. The cloth is simple and unpretentious, heavy and crisp, unbleached and durable, pristine and probably unused. The hems are neatly hand-stitched as is the hanging tab. The entire set comes in superb condition.

Each towel measures 27” in width and 36 ½” in length.
