19th century French brass repousse mirror. It features a scroll crest surmounting the mirror and a beveled glass center plate. The glass is original and the mirror comes in very good overall condition commensurate with age. There is some foxing in the side plates; minor wear and loss of metal along the edges as shown. Measures 27” high x 16” wide.

Very pretty, Venetian Murano glass vanity mirror, c.1940s. It features a “rope twisted” frame in clear glass interspersed with two clear glass florets over a silver leaf ground. The handle is also mirrored and embellished with an etched garland. The mirror can also be hung from its original hanging hook at the back. Early 20th century copper framed convex mirror with an outstanding verdigris patina of greenish blue. The glass is etch-marked “Rushmore” -it must have spent its time on a ship’s vessel or harbor whereby exposure to the salt air had given rise to its beautifully textured patina of greenish blue deposits on the copper surface.
