It has a wonderful aged patina and is constructed from sturdy steel with seamed sides and has a strong bale handle, riveted ears and a hooped base. Condition is excellent. There are no holes.

19th century, French brown salt-glazed terracotta garden pots. These pots have a pleasing concentric coiled pattern and each possesses a wonderfully textured surface. The wall of one pot is indented (it may have collapsed during the firing process) which further adds to the character and charm of these pots. There is a single small drainage hole in each pot pierced near the base of one, and near the top rim of the other. These come in excellent condition. Each pot is 10” in height.
