Late 19th century painted Swedish trencher. Carved out of a single piece of wood, it retains its original paint –a fabulous ink colored blue exterior and traces of white on the inside that has beautifully worn from years of use. It has a stamped mark underneath that presumably bears the artist’s initials and regional (?) symbol. It comes in excellent original condition. There are no cracks in the wood.
