REDUCED Vintage Ivory Nylon Mesh & Brown Leather Pumps by "Mademoiselle Shoes"

This is a fabulous pair of 1940s Ivory Nylon Mesh & Brown Leather Pumps by “Mademoiselle Shoes”. These are the kind of shoes Kate Hepburn or Myrna Loy would have worn to work on a “dress down” day. They have the typical 1940s style heel; they are leather covered and measure 2 ¾” high and are about 1” d. at the tips. The coppery brown leather trim is polka dotted with the ivory mesh showing through as the dots. The toes and back half of the shoes are lined. The original inner leather sole pad is intact. They are marked size "8 A" and have been gently worn. The front bow on one of the shoes looks like its been repaired. It looks good. The shoes are slightly stiff when you first put them on. I wear an 8 M and they are a tad snug on me, both in length and width. The inside sole length is 8” long, 2” wide at the ball of the foot and the inside heel area is 2” across. The sole of the shoes show little wear and the lifts are intact.
