Creel, leather bound fly fishing creel or basket with shoulder harness, near mint, has had little to no use. One of many listed. Creel is 14" long, 5" wide, 9" tall to the top of the handle. The lid is 10 1/2" by 5". Very nice hand woven wicker creel. The leather and stitching are perfect. No maker's mark. The shoulder harness appears to be also unused. There is a 7" ruler printed on the leather. Due to the small opening 2 1/2" by 1 1/2" and the 7" ruler, this creel was for brook trout. No negatives. The leather has been cleaned and waxed. We do not sell damaged creels or ones with the bottoms rotted out. In the past it was a common practice to place wet moss inside of the creel, this kept the trout fresh. For this reason the vast majority of creels have severe damage and crumble when handled. This is not the case with creels that we sell.
