Bank, cast metal with original bronzed finish, Mint Condition, figural of The Three Bears, from the nursery rhyme series of promotional banks given away by banks to encourage savings. Circa 1940. This charming bank is 5 1/4"" tall to the top of Papa Bear's hat, base is 2 3/4" in diameter. Original bottom marked "Turn 1/4 Pull Out". Looks like the standard Crestline Mfg. of Brooklyn NY bottom but it is not marked. No key is necessary even though there is a keyhole. The original owner scripted his name on the bottom.
