Country pine shelf, antique American, circa 1870. Size: 48" long, 8" deep, 11" tall. Condition: Excellent, very clean. The pine shelf still retains some of the original mahogany color. It was a common practice to enrich the pine to give it the look of Mahogany. The top and back have been refinished. Elsewhere the shelf retains it's original finish. Slender 4 foot long shelves are few and far between. See additional photos. This shelf would be perfect for a country decorating look.
