Antique advertising fan, collectible for automotive, car and advertising collectors. Circa 1920 hand held fan, advertising for U.S. Rubber Company Tires, this is a double sided advertiser. Printed by the International Printing Co., Indianapolis Indiana. The fan screen is balloon shaped, 10" in length and 8 1/8" at the widest. On the front side are four different tire/treads and the logo for the "United States Rubber Company and Associated Companies". The fan leaf is fitted into a slit in the wood stick and stapled. There is a tear to the left of the Royal Cord tire, a rough edge by Nobby Tread, a small crease at the top and some edge wear on the right side. The fan has never been used. See photo.
