Sugar shaker, American Victorian glass, sometimes referred to as sugar sifter or muffineer. Made by the US Glass Factory "B", Bryce Bros. of Mt. Pleasant Pa. This is a relatively rare, opaque white opalware sugar shaker, circa 1900 - 1907. Mold blown with a raised band of diamond rows extending 1" up from the pedestal base. Hand painted flowers on the front and a single bud on the back. Fine striation lines are patterned on the pear-shaped body. Original 5 pint star top. See photos. Some brass is showing through the metal finish on the top. NO chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. Height is 4 1/4".
