Antique clock, Seth Thomas mantel clock, completely restored and 100% mint original condition. Made in Thomaston, Conn. , circa turn of the century 1900 -1908, factory date stamp is on bottom of the case. The movement was professionally rebuilt to new condition, disassembled and ultra-sonically cleaned, all pivots were resurfaced and polished on a lathe, 6 new bronze bushings were installed in the worn pivot holes, the verge was stoned and polished then trued to the escape wheel.

A SIDE NOTE: Saying the restoration work was performed and actually performing the restoration work by a knowledgeable clockmaker are two different issues. I am a clockmaker with 35+ years experience and sell only 100% Legitimate Antique Clocks in Mint to Excellent Restored condition. This clock has over $650 of restoration labor and better than 3 days of work

The clock runs accurately for 7 days and chimes each hour and once at each half hour with a deep resonating tone. The case has the original red adamantine finish to simulate rosewood. The case was cleaned, polished and waxed. It now sparkles like the day it was made. Size: 16 1/4" long, 9 1/2" tall, 5" deep. The dial is 5" in diameter. The brass bezel with original convex glass, all four brass bun feet and brass pendulum were polished and sealed.
