Sugar shaker made by Eagle Glass Co., often referred to as sifters or muffineers. This glass shaker is antique American, circa 1896, by the Eagle Glass and Mfg. Co of Wellsburg W. VA. This pattern is shown as an early ad reprint in "Victorian Colored Pattern Glass III" by Wm. Heacock. The shaker is the large size, 4 1/2" bulbous body diameter and 6" in height. The long neck has a beaded ring with flower tendrils extending down the throat. The shaker is mold blown, opal opaque glass with a high relief floral pattern.
