Candy dish lusterware in vibrant Art Deco colors, definitely Deco in shape and style. Center figural handle. Circa 1920 - 1930, made in Japan backstamp is double TT in a diamond. The porcelain factory was in production in Takito Japan from 1880 and closed in 1948. The dish is 7" diameter, with hand painted stylized flowers. The colors are very typical of those used during the Art Deco era; strong chrome yellow, "tango" orange and Lanvin blue. Background design on the caramel luster is angular and arched. The underside of the candy is light pearlized yellow. No chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. See photos. This piece has several uses, be creative.
