Bank, cast metal with copper finish, bust of George Washington, a promotional item given away by banks to encourage saving. When an account was open you could select a bank. This is one from the Presidential Series, made by Banthrico Inc Chicago USA. It is marked on the bottom and dated 1974. "First Federal Savings Nashua Hudson Merrimack" is on the back side.
